How to make a meal from ALDI for 4 people for only 13! This pork chop meal will satisfy all of your family, is easy to make, and is easy on the bank account.
ALDI Ingredients: 4 pork chops, 1 box long grain and wild rice, 8oz. package of mushrooms, 1 box onion soup and dip mix, 1 box panko bread crumbs, 1 16 oz. bag fresh green beans.
Directions:
1. Heat pan on the stove over medium heat. Pour in 1 tbsp. olive oil.
2. Combine 1 packet onion soup mix and 1/2 cup bread crumbs. Rinse off pork chops and pat dry. Cover each side with breadcrumb mixture.
3. Heat pork chops on stove top until brown, about 3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes. The internal temperature should be 145 degrees. Remove and let rest.
4. While they are cooking, cook rice according to package directions.
5. Wash mushrooms and green beans.
6. Cook mushrooms in the same pan as pork chops for about two minutes. Stir and cook another 2 minutes. While they are cooking, trim green beans. Boil for 3 minutes and drain water.
7. Top pork chops with mushrooms and serve with a side of rice and green beans.
