ReplyDeleteTaco Pockets are a budget-friendly meal option that is easy to make, customizable, and sure to please the whole family. This recipe includes 1 lb ground beef, 1 packet of taco seasoning, 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz), shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend), 1 package of biscuit dough (usually 8 biscuits per can; crescent rolls work well too), 1 small onion, 1 cup shredded lettuce, sour cream or salsa for dipping (optional), salt and pepper, and olive oil or cooking spray for greasing. To cook the filling, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the diced onion. Cook the ground beef until browned, drain any excess fat, and stir in the taco seasoning. Set aside. Preheat your oven to the specified temperature on the biscuit dough package and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper. Open the biscuit dough can and separate the biscuits into a larger circle, about 4-5 inches in diameter. Assemble the Taco Pockets by spooning a generous amount of the filling onto the center of each flattened dough circle, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket, and pinch the edges together to seal them. Place the taco pockets on the prepared baking sheet and bake according to the biscuit dough package instructions (typically 12-15 minutes).personal injury lawyer portsmouth
