How to Make Celery Stick Car Snacks For Your Kids!

As a parent, I can never get enough easy and fun snack ideas to keep in my back pocket. That is why I wanted to pass on to you one of our new favorites, Celery Stick Car Snacks! What I like about these is that they are super flexible, so once you have the Dandy Celery sticks, you can substitute whatever type of filling, meat, cheese, or fruit that your kids like best. 

We always use Dandy Celery sticks in our house because they are so crispy and crunchy. They are packed with flavor and low in calories which makes them a perfect snack for every member of our family. Honestly, I might have dipped a few celery sticks in peanut butter and polished them off while I was making these cars for my kids. So head to your local store to pick up some Dandy Celery to race towards making this fun snack idea for your kids.

Above are the ingredients that I used and below are some ideas for different varieties of celery stick cars. But remember to use your creativity, feel free to make your own shapes, and use the foods that your kids will like best. One note is that toothpicks are used to hold the wheels and other car parts on. Make sure to put the spread (cream cheese, nut butter, etc.) on the celery stick first, then insert the toothpicks. Most importantly remember to let your kids know that there are toothpicks in the snack so that they don't poke themselves.

Car 1: Dandy Celery stick body, steering wheel, and spoiler, cream cheese filling, pepperoni and olive wheels, red and green grape car front and driver.

Car 2: Dandy Celery stick body, spreadable cheese filling, cheese and grape wheels, pepperoni front and rear, olive steering wheel.

Car 3: Dandy Celery stick body, peanut butter filling, animal cracker driver, cracker, pepperoni, and cheese wheels, green grape front and back.

Car 4: Dandy Celery stick body, hummus filling, pepperoni windshield, red grape wheels.
