You can never have too many snack ideas on hand to make with your kids at home. During times like this when you want easy recipes and activities for your kids to do as well, my fun animal snacks with Quaker® Chewy bars are a fun solution!
Quaker® Chewy bars are made with 100% whole grains and other delicious ingredients so they are convenient, plus these animal recipes add fruit too. Did you also know that Quaker® Chewy classic granola bars contain no artificial flavors or added colors? All of this adds up to a snack that you can feel good about giving to your kids and your kids will love eating!
The great thing about these fox, owl, and monkey themed snacks is that they don't have to be a recipe that you make FOR your kids, but a recipe that you make WITH your kids. You do the cutting and they can do the assembling using my photos and easy instructions below. My family devoured these when we made them and I know yours will as well.
Pro tip: Use vegetable or cookie cutters on fruit to make creating the shapes easy. If you don't have small cutters, a sharp knife will work great but make sure an adult is doing the cutting.
