There's nothing we like better this time of year than watching The Nightmare Before Christmas as a family. Of course, it's also a great Christmas movie. What do you think? Is it a Halloween or Christmas movie? Either way it transcends the seasons and that's why I had to make another Jack Skellington lunch for my kids! This one features a Jack quesadilla and even an Oogie Boogie apple. Read below to find out how to make it.
Ingredients: Flour tortillas, meat, cheese slices, purple grapes, nori (roasted seaweed snacks), Babybel cheese, dried mango, green apple, raisins.
Directions:
1. Cut three circles from flour tortilla, ham or other sliced meat, and cheese slices. Stack together and heat up so cheese melts. Cool, place in lunchbox, and surround with purple grapes. Cut Jack's facial features out of black nori and place on top.
2. Cut the top off of a Babybel cheese round. Cut Jack's jacket and bowtie from nori and place on top. Fill side compartment with dried mango and put Jack's jacket on top.
3. Slice green apple into the shape of Oogie Boogie. Cut Oogie's face out of nori and place on top. If you're concerned with browning rub apple with a citrus fruit like lemon, orange, or lime.
4. Place in other side compartment and surround with raisins. Then watch the movie at least once or twice!
